Why Therapy with Christy Modine?
“Therapy with me isn’t about jargon or one-word answers. It’s about real conversations that lead to real change.”
No one wants to pour their heart out to someone who does a lot of “hmm”s or “Uh huh”s or “how does that make you feels”, you know what I mean. I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where you can share your story without judgement and work toward solutions that fit who you are. I will challenge my clients when I feel it will benefit them in a way that feels collaborative yet offers maybe a new perspective. In my sessions, I want my clients to leave feeling lighter, and with some kind of constructive feedback or plan, and maybe just maybe, a new perspective about themselves. Above all else, I want my clients to feel understood, respected and cared about.
